Sunday Is Always a FUN Day...

Every Sunday is a "mommy and me" day where we do something fun and different. This past Sunday i took Logan to Mimi's cafe for brunch, we sat outside on the patio since it was so gorgeous out. Every time a motorcycle would pass by, you know who would be up and out of his chair just to see it pass by, ha ha. For breakfast he ordered Mickey Mouse pancakes with fruit and a orange juice. He was so excited when they brought it out, he HAD to pour his own syrup and everything of course :) He ate all of his fruit which i was pretty surprised at and 1 whole pancake. He sure is a growing boy!



We spent the afternoon and evening at the riverside county date festival with Logan's papa, and one of my best friend's Melyssa. It was PACKED but we managed to make it through the entire thing in about 4 hours. Logan had a blast watching the alligator show, going to the petting zoo, and seeing the baby pigs. We got him a new pair of sun glasses which he totally rocked with style :) By the end of the night we were so FULL from fair food, i think we tried one of everything LoL. We always look forward to the following year at the fair.

The Good News Is FINALLY Here...

I went to the doctors today and got the best news EVER about my cyst. They told me that they would NOT be doing surgery and that i would be able to have more kids later on without any complications (THANK YOU LORD) They explained to me that when one of the cyst in my right ovary ruptured it caused blood to get into the "Cul-De-Sac" it is on the lower part of all female organs and there is not suppose to be any liquid in it. Since this happened it has caused me to be in A LOT of pain. They said that the blood does not evaporate inside this "Cul-De-Sac" so what that means is i have to take 800mg Motrin for 3 days straight and hopefully the blood will clear out. I am so thankful for everything that has turned out in this situation and i am also so thankful for all the great family and friends i have praying for me. Prayers do work, and this is just another example to prove it. :)

Yo Ho, Yo Ho, A Pirates Life For Me...

Happy 3rd Birthday to Jett. This past Saturday we got to celebrate a "Pirate" party in the most amazing way possible thanks to Tiffany and Susanna (Jett's mom and Nana) Logan was in heaven, he didn't know where to begin :) They had a taco stand with any kind of taco you could think of - rice, beans, guacamole, chips, salsa, nachos.. you name it, it was there. They had a jump house, pony rides, face painting, pinata, and of course a Pirate. They did such a wonderful job throwing this party everything turned out AMAZING. I never knew you could put so much thought into a themed party. Logan had such a great time celebrating, he jumped in the jump house until he couldnt jump anymore (haha) He is a jumping bean. He got his face painted like a Pirate and even though the eye patch didnt come out perfect Logan still pulled it off and looked cuter than ever. It was so nice catching up with old friends i havent seen in the past 2 years, i have missed them all so much. Thank you for inviting us to your special day Jett. We love you.

Thursday Is Date Nights...

I love our date nights with Michelle and Layla they are the best! We had such a fun time at my new place. We welcomed Michelle and Layla in just like it was their home :) Layla and Logan play so good together, it's so nice that he has such a great friend. I cooked them my first "real" dinner with all my new pots and pans LOL. We had stuffed bell peppers mmm they were soo good and BTW if anyone including YOU Michelle (LOL) want the recipe i will add it below :) Logan and I cherish all the great times we have with the Loredo's because we know they are going to be gone soon :( We love you girls so much and cant wait until our Thursday date night this week, What will it be next?? Hmmm your turn BEST FRIEND :)





Stuffed Bell Pepper Recipe:
1 cup of rice- cooked
1 head of Celery (chopped)
1 box of baby Bella mushrooms (chopped)
1 large can of tomato sauce
2 cubes of chicken bujon
2 Cloves of garlic
4 Red Bell peppers (green or yellow work fine)

In a large pot boil water- Chop off the heads on the bell peppers and clean them out-add them to the pot and boil until tender.
In a sauce pan add the chopped Celery, Mushrooms, & Garlic, saute them until they are almost fully cooked. Add the rice, chicken bujon and tomato sauce ( i don't put an exact amount for the tomato sauce i just add enough so that its all mixed well ) Cook for about 10-15 minutes. Drain out the bell peppers, add them to a plate, plastic container or whatever is easy to stick in the microwave. Stuff the bell peppers with the rice mixture, add any type of cheese you like and pop it in the microwave for about 3 min. Hope you LOVE them as much as i do!! :)

Praying For Good News...

For those of you who don't know, yesterday i found out that i have Cyst on both ovaries which have been very painful for the last month. I have had a IUD for about 2 1/2 years and never had any problems. 4 weeks ago i started getting back cramps, back pains, and body aches and i thought maybe it was because i haven't had a cycle in the last 2 1/2 years. 4 weeks later the pain got more severe on my right side. I went to urgent care first thing on Monday morning and they scheduled me a CT scan. I had my CT scan on Tuesday morning which was no fun for me. They did a IV with contrast (which is Iodine) so they could see what was going on. I got the results back around 2pm yesterday and they wanted me to go to my OBGYN asap. I went and to me all i heard was bad news. I know that cyst are very common and can not be harmful but they also CAN be harmful and bad. I am scared, nervous and in pain and i just hope that in the end of all this i will be back to normal and able to have more kids later on. I have 1 cyst on my right ovary that ruptured and is 3.5cm which is causing the bleeding and pain. I have another one on my left ovary that is 2.5cm and is not bothering me at this time and then i have small ones surrounding those. I have a special ultra sound today at 1:45pm and on Monday morning i will go over the results with my OBGYN and find out if i have to have surgery. Wish me luck... I will keep all of you posted. XO

A Day FULL Of LOVE...

Happy Valentines Day!! Logan and I had a great day together. Everything we ate was either pink or heart shaped. We started off the morning with pink yogurt, eggs, and pink pancakes with strawberry milk. Even though Logan didnt like the eggs they were my favorite part, i never even knew how easy it was to make these.

After breakfast we took a walk in our new complex, Logan rode his bike and on the way he picked me flowers, what a little cutie pie. He did such a great job picking!

We went to the Date Festival for a few hours with my Mom and Grandparents, it was fun seeing the rides, animals, and ESPECIALLY eating all the junk food. Logan always LOVES going to fair. By the end of the day he was wipped out and ready for a nap and so was I!



Of course right after nap i had a surpirse for him. He was so excited that he woke up to presents and cake. I got him a new wow wow wubbsy dvd, a new ball, a gum ball machine, a cow that says moo and poops out pink jelly beans (LOL) and a new shirt. I also baked him a special heart shaped cake that he got to eat all to himself whenever he wanted!





For dinner we made pink mac and cheese!! It was way better than it looks :) Logan thought it was so funny, he kept saying "it's pink mommy, that's funny" I think by then end of this day we are going to turn pink! LOL


Last but not least CAKE TIME is the best time. I set Logan up on the kitchen counter and let him eat away... of course he only wanted the frosting and not the cake, but hey it was his special cake so i let him do whatever he wanted :) I hope all of you had a great Valentines Day just like we did.
