Praying For Good News...

For those of you who don't know, yesterday i found out that i have Cyst on both ovaries which have been very painful for the last month. I have had a IUD for about 2 1/2 years and never had any problems. 4 weeks ago i started getting back cramps, back pains, and body aches and i thought maybe it was because i haven't had a cycle in the last 2 1/2 years. 4 weeks later the pain got more severe on my right side. I went to urgent care first thing on Monday morning and they scheduled me a CT scan. I had my CT scan on Tuesday morning which was no fun for me. They did a IV with contrast (which is Iodine) so they could see what was going on. I got the results back around 2pm yesterday and they wanted me to go to my OBGYN asap. I went and to me all i heard was bad news. I know that cyst are very common and can not be harmful but they also CAN be harmful and bad. I am scared, nervous and in pain and i just hope that in the end of all this i will be back to normal and able to have more kids later on. I have 1 cyst on my right ovary that ruptured and is 3.5cm which is causing the bleeding and pain. I have another one on my left ovary that is 2.5cm and is not bothering me at this time and then i have small ones surrounding those. I have a special ultra sound today at 1:45pm and on Monday morning i will go over the results with my OBGYN and find out if i have to have surgery. Wish me luck... I will keep all of you posted. XO
