What A Special Saturday...

We couldn't have asked for a BETTER Saturday!! Logan got home from his Daddy's house around 10, i got him dressed and we headed to the park. We stopped on the way and got a few snacks and some drinks since i knew we would be playing long and hard. We spent about an hour and a half swinging on the swings, climbing up and down the play ground, and even making pizza (for pretend LOL) We love park days.




We got home around 12:45 and were surprised by the ACHEE'S!!! We couldn't have asked for a better surprised on a Saturday afternoon. It is always such a pleasure getting all the kid's together and visiting with Nicholle and CJ. Since we live across the way from Cj's mom we will get to see them a lot more when they come down. Our kids all fight like they are brothers and sisters it cracks Nicholle and I up. Since Cj's birthday is tomorrow we decided to bake him cupcakes!! Of course in the process EACH kid had to get their turn stirring the batter 10 times, haha!... CJ enjoyed watching us sing him happy birthday, I'm sure we all did such a great job. The kids played long and hard and before we knew it, it was time to go home for the Achee's. We will be seeing hem in 2 weeks though for Layla's birthday. Logan and I came home, took Brewster on a walk and then made a pizza, It was a great way to end our busy day. We love days like these :)

He ALMOST made it...

Tonight around 6:45pm i received a call from a sweet girl named Janet, she works for Jetset modeling. She was calling to see if they could get Logan at a shoot tomorrow morning. She asked me to take a few pictures of him, and of course i LOVE photography so i got him dressed and took some shots. They are pretty picky about the pictures, they don't like too many smiles, Mohawks, or logos. I sent her the email with all the information including these 2 pictures and Logan's height and unfortunately he needed to be at least 34" and he is only 32 :( BUT it's okay because she told me that Logan was SO gorgeous and that they were going to be using him VERY soon for a shoot. I cant wait to work with Jetset modeling in the near future.

Rainy Days = Umbrella Fun...

Sunday's are always "mommy and me" days but today since it was raining we weren't able to do too much. We spent the morning being lazy with all the windows open, watched cartoons and made pancakes. We decided we would go over to my mom's house for the afternoon and take some fun pictures. I went on google and looked up umbrella photography and there were TONS of shots i would have love to take but unfortunately our umbrella was too big. I uploaded the pictures and added some quick touches to them and this is how they turned out. I still am in love with them all!





After we played in the rain, we were ready for lunch so i asked my mom to make us Fideo soup and of COURSE little Logan had to help out in the kitchen :)

Congratulations to Angela and Jeremy on their big day. I am so happy that I could be a part of it. The wedding was simple but gorgeous, the acent colors that she used were so pretty. I wish them all the best of luck even though i know they dont need it :) everytime you are around them their love SHINES. I hope next is a baby!!(haha, JK Ang!) Best wishes to you both!!

Home is where your story begins...

I decided to throw a house warming party this Friday, to welcome all my girlfriends into our new home. I have only been in our apartment for about 3 weeks now but I already had everything put away and some what decorated so I said what the heck!? It's not a true house warming party if your house is FULLY decorated right? We had a blast. I had all the girls bring a wine glass of their choice to the party. I went and bought a bunch of "puffy paint" and had them decorate the glasses and leave them behind as my gift :) It was the BEST idea ever, I hope I passed a good idea along. I had lots of wine, champagne, cheese, fruit and dip it was all GREAT. I even had a SCENTSY rep there since it is my favorite product. I am so thankful to have all these girls in my life, and besides a couple who couldn't make it all of you are my really TRUE FRIENDS. Thank you for blessing our home with your presence.

Jet Set Modeling...

A little update:
We finally received his Entertainment Workers Permit, which means he can start modeling now!! Yaaa :) I got his modeling card or as some of you may know it a "zed card" now all we are doing is waiting for him to get on the actual website for Jet set and a call for a audition or job :) yaaa for Logan!!!
