Having Fun In The Sun...

Michelle and I decided to pack up the bags and hit the road to Newport Beach! What a fun and exciting day. We left early in the morning and go there around 11. We stopped at subway on the way and got lunch, cookies and drinks. It took us a GOOD 30 minutes to find a parking spot near the beach, it was INSANE. When we finally did we grabbed all of our stuff and headed to the water. Logan and Layla could hardly wait to get on the beach, UNTIL Logan hit the sand and flipped lol. My poor little guy has only been to the beach 1 other time but this time so he didnt understand why the waves were SO loud and why the sand kept getting caught in his shoes. He finally realized that nothing was going to hurt him and he had a BLAST with Layla. I'm so glad that we got to go and spend the day together, i look forward doing it again real soon.

Little Lo wanted to show off his new towel that auntie Gen got him. She ordered it from pottery barn (kids) and they put his name on the bottom of it, its SUPER cute!

Carnival Cruise 2009

What a GREAT cruise!! We took a 4 day 3 night vacation on the Carnival Cruise to Mexico and it was probably one of the best vacations I've had in a very long time. We started off on Thursday spending the night with 2 of our best friends Nicholle and Cj. Friday morning we got to enjoy a great breakfast with my sister, Nicholle and the kids it was a great way to start the day. We made our way down to Long Beach, CA and got lost about 4 times before we finally found the terminal, ha ha!
I got sea sick the first day on the ship i felt horrible but i got over it. Logan and Drew were LOVING LIFE since the moment the stepped on the ship. Logan kept walking around telling everyone "Agua, Agua" (ever since he was little he calls water, Agua and refuses to say it in english) It was so cute every ones heart melted over him. We spent all day Saturday in Ensenada, Mexico took a tour of La Bufadora to see the famous "blow hole" and walked through all the little shops. We ended back up in down town Ensenada @ papas and beer and boy did we have a GREAT time. The grandparents took the kiddos back to the ship so we could have some "cousin" time so thanks to them for letting us have such a great time together. Drew got hypnotised and it REALLY worked!! He danced with a big guy on stage, had a lady grinding her butt on his leg and then "lost his penis" on stage and had to find it and put it back on LOL so you can only imagine! All in all we had such a wonderful time and Drew and I are planning to do a cruise next year just the 3 of us to Cabo! 4th Of July In San Diego...

Spending the 4th of July in San Diego was probably the best things weve decided to do in a while :) We had such an amazing time. We spent all day Saturday at the Del Mar fair, ate junk food, took Logan on rides, walked around through all the vendors and even took a sky ride across the entire fair grounds. Logan loved every mintue of it because there was so much going on he never got bored, haha. We spent the evening on top of Bay Park moutain and watched a total of 6 firework shows which were all AMAZING. Logan fell asleep in my arms before the 6th show ended but he got to watch 40 mintues of the others :)
On Sunday we woke up bright and early to get ready for Sea World. We had the BEST time ever, it was both Drew and Logans first time going so it was great to see the both of them enjoy it so much. Logan waited patiently for every show and he sat through every one without moving. He never wanted to leave any of the exibits, he kept telling us "no, no again" it was so cute. We got through the entire park in 4 hours without any crowds. We bought 2 annual passes and hope to continue going more often. Spending the weekend with my 2 boys was the best thing ever, they are my whole world and more <3
